You did the hard part, just let it dissolve in nailpolish remover and to make them smoother and stronger cover them with clear nail polish or any other kind. I wouldn't buff them, they are too thin right now for it.What Do I do now that I have took my acrylic nails off?
I wouldnt put clear nail polish on, your nails need to breath, and that wont help at all

It's simple, scrub your fingers gently to make the skin fresh, wash your hands well and repolish them! Don't bite at the grow out if it hurts (did for me %26gt;.%26lt;). You shouldn't need a special product, just time, nail polish and polish remover.
try using a nail filer. i file off the glue. it leaves my nails looking dry and brittle but it'll get the glue off.
try Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails.
Did you get them done at the salon, or did you put them on yourself? Try some non-acetone nail polish remover. That should take the glue off - and it's cheap, so your dad won't get mad.
how old are you?
Um...if you took your acrylic nails off with ACETONE...the glue should be gone. Please, Please, Please do not tell me you popped/bit them off.
You need to use PURE ACETONE. Soak them until the glue dissolves. This should have happened tho if you properly took your nails off. The acrilic would have dissvoled into a gooey like substance until it completely came off the nail.
Afterwards, you should wash your hands, lotion them, then file them down to a short length. I hope this helps.
The bottle of acetone will look like nail polish remover but it should say PURE ACETONE, should be a buck and maybe some change at CVS or a DOLLAR STORE. GOOD LUCK!!
Buy acetone polish remover and let them soak for 20 min, that will loosen up the glue, that's what they soak them in in the salon.
just file/buff them..then use a clear strengthener or top coat.
Try nailpolish remover with acetone. You can find that at any drugstore. Even call your nail salon and ask them to remove the glue--they put it there, or at least ask what they recommend to get the glue off.
Once you get the glue off just paint your nails with a clear coat of nailpolish and they will look a lot better. They're really thin and brittle now so i wouldn't recommend doing much else with them.
Also remember people won't notice your nails too much so relax :)
Happy New Year!
I am thinking that an Acetone nail polish remover should work. The Non Acetone isn't strong enough to take off the glue.
Also to make your nails look as good as they possible will, buy an nail buffer. They only cost a few dollars, and you 'sand down'; the top layer of the nail, then use the other side to shine it up. They usually have 4 'sides'.
You could also buy a bottle of cheap clear coat.
For all of those items at a Dollar Store you're looking at around $5.
Try to stay away from the fake nails.
Grow yours out, and make yours look pretty.
the cheapest and best way to get all that gunk off is washing dishes....i'm not sure if its the dish soap or the hot water but its cheap and makes parents happy.
i heard that if you soak you nails in nail polish then it will come off. i would try soaking your nails and then taking nail polish remover and clean it off. also get a hand and nail moisturizer. and i know that that isnt $13. :)
Remove the glue by soaking your nails in nail polish remover.
Acrylics ruin your nails. The only way to get them healthy again is by letting them grow and keeping them trimmed.
soak your nails in acid tone remover for nyour nails
uhhh nail polish remover.
nail polish remover with acetone...you have to let it soak for a long time though.....good luck.
try to put olive oil on them and well first soak them in water and then put olive oil on them and it will eventually soon come off... and the dryness will be fine
Try to soak them in Acetone nail polish remover. A lot of nail salons file and buff down your nails which make them more brittle. I wouldnt suggest that.. Unless your just trying to take off the acrylic nail. And it will be weak for a while so buy a nail polish that strengthens your nails.
try a cuticle conditioner. You can get it at the dollar store
Be sorry for months you got them on. Use nail varnish remover then buff them. If you can afford it go to a salon and start lookin after your own nails.......... Good luk
You need to get yourself some solar oil and you also need a polish called ';Nail Envy'; I highly recomend the next time you receive a nail service buff the nail off. get yourself a buffing block and buff the nail plate lightly and that will help with the glue that is on your nails now. You could also soak your nails in acetone this will help disolve whatever is left from your acrylic nail service. DO NOT SOAK ANYLONGER THAN 20 MIN. Hope this helps you
