Working as a hostess and having acrylic nails a bad idea?

I work as a hostess in a restaurant and really want acrylic nails. Mainly all I do is seat people and take their drink orders. Sometimes I get roped into running food. My question is would it be wise to get fake nails? Is it easy to pop them off when it comes to say...scooping ice or something mundane?Working as a hostess and having acrylic nails a bad idea?
i think you should, it'll add to your over all aperance with hosting. if you get them profesionaly done, no, they won't pop off. :P





they are simply a little fake nail guled to your real nail, and really hard stuff holding them to your nail. :P

Choose a short length for your acrylic nails. If you do that and regularly maintain them, they will not come off easily. When you do dishes and other water-related tasks, wear rubber gloves.

You should check with the policy of your employer. Some restaurants don't allow employees who handle food to wear nail polish, yet alone, get acrylics.
