it hasnt been to long so your nails may be WEAKER but they are not ruined like someone else said.

first clip all your fake nails short so they are about the same length as your natural nails.

buy some acetone, at cvs or any drugstore, and put it in a GLASS bowl (anything like plastic will melt). then put some warm water in a big bowl and put the glass bowl with the acetone inside of it so it will get warmed. then soak your nails for a while!

then just file the tops and it will start to come off. it is time consuming but it is better then ripping them off!

=) good luckIs there a way i can remove my acrylic nails at home?
Your nails are already ruined. They are ground down to almost nothing in order to apply the acrylic nails. When I had to remove mine for work, I soaked them in nail polish remover. This loosens them nicely and you can start removing them. Once they are all off, you will have some pretty awful looking nails, but put some nail strengthener on them to protect them as they grow out. Keep them filed down until the nails have grown out. This may take a couple of months or so, but your nails will be back and healthy pretty soon.
buy acetone from any store(walmart like 2.00$$) pour in a glass bowl %26amp;%26amp; soak them off. it can take anywhere from 30 min to an hour...dont listen to the other person ur nails arent ruined i do it all the time. just file then paint them and keep it movin:)
yes buy pure acetone and dip your nails in it. it will def. remove them without getting your nails all ugly
