Why don't you just take a Nail Tech course? It only takes a few weeks or months to complete it, The School will give you a kit, and teach you how to do it.Can someone teach me to do acrylic nails?
you can actually buy the supplies at walmart, or walgreens, something like that. you need the acrylic powder, and solvent, the liquid that the professionals dip the brush into before the powder. you will also need the ';plastic'; tips. you can buy these at the same place. use a little bit of glue, and glue them to the tips of your nails. once those are dry, you will need to dip your brush into the liquid, and then into the powder, and working quickly, not rushing though, spread the misxture on your brush, one your nail, including covering the tip. once you do all of your nails, you will need to file then down, and buff them out, so that they are nice and smooth... then paint

it's a lot of work, and sometimes it is just easier and cheaper to go to the nail salon to get them done, it costs usually around $30.00 for a full set of acrylic nails, and a few to paint them. and when they are grown out, about $18 to fill them in. It's hard to do it on yourself, so beware!
